I have been using Teams since 2015 for work.
10 years of posts, channels, groups and seamless integration with OneDrive and Outlook.
I replaced OneDrive with Nextcloud Files and Outlook with Thunderbird.
I loved the feature in Teams which recorded videos and made it available in Microsoft Stream.
I was recording my video podcast episodes using Teams.
I needed an alternative which did just that and supported Digital Sovereignty.
Enter Opentalk!
It even comes with an IT Security Label from the BSI

What I like about Opentalk?
- I can create meetings easily and share the Guest link with participants
- I can record meetings
- Meetings are recorded using the “webm” format. One of the best formats for size and quality. You can play the format using VLC Media Player and also save it as MP4 using OpenShot Video Editor.
